When “Why” Doesn’t Matter

To be human is to make up stories.

We compose stories to make sense of our patterns of action — our action tendencies. Our stories are crafted to explain why we do what we do on both sides of success and failure.

We weave stories explaining why something we did turned out well and why something didn’t. Our stories vary in their ability to be believable, compelling, or useful.
